The Three Lakes Community Foundation offers scholarships to support students who are ready to make a difference. Whether you’re a dedicated volunteer or planning a career in the skilled trades, we’re here to help you take the next step. Learn more about the Rising Star Scholarship, which honors students committed to community service, and the Building Our Community Trades Scholarship, which supports those pursuing technical and trade careers that strengthen our local workforce. The Three Lakes Community Foundation has created the Rising Star Scholarship to facilitate its mission of enhancing and supporting opportunities that make Three Lakes THE place to live, work, and play. This scholarship has been created to benefit a graduating student from the Three Lakes High School District who shows exceptional service to the community through volunteer service. This $1,300 scholarship is unique in that it has two parts. The first $1,000 is applied to the winner’s college tuition. To inspire community stewardship in our youth, the remaining $300 will be donated to a Three Lakes 501 (c) (3) nonprofit of the recipient’s choice. As a result of the student’s volunteerism and philanthropy, he/she will become the “Rising Star” of our community.
